Learning Experience Options

Our primary method of increasing Agile Product Management and the accountability of the Product Owner knowledge is a deliberate developmental experience divided into learning blocks, each with four hours of live virtual classroom training with a qualified trainer-practitioner complemented with presentations and lectures in the form of videos, reading material, and writing activities provided for self-study. Live sessions are delivered online using Microsoft Teams and Mural, with Mighty Networks provides the self-study portal.

Every participant on every option receives:

  • Two attempts at the industry-recognised Scrum.org Assessments.
  • A 30m learning review, generally delivered between assessment attempts.
  • A 60m one-on-one coaching session

At a minimum, we deliver this class over 4 ½ days (16 hours). We can provide this over four intensive consecutive days or four non-consecutive days over two weeks.

While this course covers an introduction to the Scrum framework, it’s primarily from the perspective of the Product Owner. Therefore, it’s best if the students come to the course with an understanding of the fundamentals of Scrum, ideally as demonstrated by passing the Scrum Open.

All participants completing the Professional Scrum Product Owner course receive a password to take the Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) assessment. The industry-recognized PSPO I certification requires a minimum passing score of 85%. PSPO class participants who attempt the PSPO I assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a second attempt at no additional cost. You are also entitled to a discount on the PSPO II assessment once passing PSPO I.

PMI PDU Credits

Students of Scrum.org courses are able to claim Project Management Institute (PMI) PDU credit: 14 PDUs after attending a two-day Professional Scrum Master (PSPO) course. Please note that PMI PDUs are earned for course attendance and not for passing a Scrum.org assessment. Students can claim PDUs under PMI’s “Education courses provided by other third-party providers” category. You can claim your PDUs online at https://ccrs.pmi.org.  Find instructions here.
