Momentum is an irresistible force in product delivery , without a doubt.

For a moment, imagine a ship at full speed; it’s moving in a particular direction with such force that stopping it would take miles. That’s momentum! 💫

But what’s the deal with ‘momentum’, especially in product delivery?

In the context of product delivery, momentum takes on a unique role. It’s not just about speed but also direction. 👉

Does everyone working with you understand the direction you’re headed in? Do they move in that direction and influence others who might not be as clear about the course?

You see, the crux lies in having enough folks moving in the same direction that they pull the rest along. Whether you’re building a product or initiating change within an organisation, momentum is crucial. 🌟

Momentum is movement. Right? You’re moving in a particular direction, and you have enough stuff moving in that direction that it’s difficult to stop. Right? That, for me, is momentum. Like a ship. When a ship puts on the brakes, it takes 10 miles to stop. Right?

So, momentum, especially in product delivery, does… does everybody who’s working with you understand the direction that you’re going? So that they’re going in that direction, and they’re going to pull other people along with them who don’t necessarily understand as well as some people do.

So, if you’ve got enough people moving in that direction in order to pull in the rest of the people and folks that you need. And this is true for, I’m building a product or I’m changing an organisation or…
