TL;DR; Microsoft Soapbox is an online video sharing platform similar to YouTube, using Flash for playback instead of Silverlight, and accessible through standard firewalls.
Just found a new services from Microsoft called Soapbox . It is similar to YouTube, but I assumed it would be implemented using Silverlight . But as it turns out, its Flash! Boo….
Looks good and works through our firewall though!
